JLF2023: CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE MIND AND SOUL
The 2023 Jewish Literary Festival in Cape Town will celebrate the Jewish connection to words, contribute to the cultural diversity of the Jewish community, and bring together the histories and experiences of readers and writers.
The festival enhances the Cape Town Jewish experience for readers and writers of all ages across a wide spectrum of genres without promoting any political or religious agenda. Our writers are either Jewish themselves, have a strong connection to the Jewish community or have chosen to write about Jews or Judaism. Festival goers will have the opportunity to talk directly to writers and fellow readers alike, playing an integral role in powering-up this otherwise under-represented category in the local publishing arena.
Great thinkers and writers at the Cape Town Jewish Literary Festival
The Jewish Literary Festival 2023 (JLF2023) will host some of the greatest thinkers and writers in the country on Human Rights Day (21 March) this year in Cape Town. Join us for a provocative series of panels on business, politics, sport, history, narrative, identity, heroes, villains and much more!
